  • Sigma Tau Delta (International English Honor Society) (since 2005)
  • Although currently the cost of membership is prohibitive, I am interested in joining AECT (Association for Educational Communications and Technology) and ATD (Association for Talent Development).  AECT will help me stay grounded in research-based instructional design and learning sciences, while ATD’s focus on workforce learning, healthcare education, and corporate training aligns with my goal of creating practical, user-centered learning experiences for adult audiences. These communities will support both the theoretical rigor and industry relevance of my professional growth.

(D) Professional Reading

  • I recently began following the Learning Guild on LinkedIn and Facebook to stay connected to current conversations in instructional design and learning technology.  Their practitioner-focused insights on tools, user experience, and emerging trends in digital learning align closely with my transition into adult education and learning experience design.
